Tax Manager

About the role

Potentia Energy, a joint venture between Enel Green Power and INPEX, is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, reporting and planning across its extensive renewable energy portfolio in Australia. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will ensure timely and accurate tax filings while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of all Australian tax compliance obligations, including federal, state and local income tax returns, GST, withholding taxes and OECD Pillar Two reporting.
• Manage indirect tax filings such as Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and property tax returns.
• Prepare and review tax effect accounting under AASB 112 for half‑year and year‑end reporting.
• Coordinate with internal finance teams, joint‑venture partners, external advisors and outsourced asset managers.
• Lead external financial and tax audits, maintaining high‑quality working papers and documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Australian tax compliance for complex corporate structures.
• Strong knowledge of GST, OECD Pillar Two, AASB 112 and tax effect accounting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and large‑scale projects.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
