Tax Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Director to join a well‑established accounting firm in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane. The role is designed for a senior professional who wishes to progress quickly towards partnership while leading a portfolio of high‑net‑worth corporate and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Finalise tax compliance and lodgement for a diverse client base.
• Provide tax structuring, planning and advisory services.
• Deliver advisory and transaction support across multiple industries.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, driving business growth.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to firm leadership.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with extensive experience managing staff and clients.
• Broad tax knowledge, particularly in business services.
• Proven business development and networking abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Experience with APM (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Xero (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Fathom (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Cas360 (advantageous).
• Understanding of BLG360 (advantageous).
