Tax Accountant (Part-time)

About the role

MVH Accountants is seeking a part‑time Tax Accountant to join its Box Hill North office. You will work directly with individuals and businesses, helping them meet tax obligations while optimizing their financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Ensure ongoing tax compliance and advise clients on tax‑related matters.
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support reporting requirements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Australian tax legislation and apply it to client situations.

Required profile

• Proficiency in tax compliance and tax preparation.
• Experience preparing accurate financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., IPA, CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
