About the role

MVH Accountants is seeking a part‑time Tax Accountant to join its Box Hill North office. You will work directly with individuals and businesses, helping them meet tax obligations while optimizing their financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and lodge tax returns for a diverse client base.
Ensure ongoing tax compliance and advise clients on tax‑related matters.
Prepare, review and analyse financial statements.
Maintain accurate accounting records and support reporting requirements.
Stay up‑to‑date with Australian tax legislation and apply it to client situations.

Required profile

Proficiency in tax compliance and tax preparation.
Experience preparing accurate financial statements.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., IPA, CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
