Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join a high‑performing finance team within a large global organisation. Working closely with the Tax Manager, you will gain exposure to Australian corporate, indirect and international tax matters while collaborating with finance, accounting and broader business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate income tax calculations and tax effect accounting.
• Support preparation and lodgement of BAS, GST, FBT and other indirect tax obligations.
• Assist with tax compliance, reporting and governance requirements.
• Support tax audits, ATO reviews and engagements with external advisors.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation and international tax matters.
• Partner with finance teams to consider tax implications in business decisions.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives and ongoing tax projects.
• Support month‑end and year‑end tax reporting requirements.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification (or nearing completion).
• 2‑5 years of experience in corporate tax, business services or tax compliance.
• Strong technical understanding of Australian tax legislation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
