Tax Accountant

About the role

Join the Tax & Business Consulting Services division of Nexia Edwards Marshall NT as a Tax Accountant. Based in the Darwin CBD office, you will work alongside experienced managers and specialists to deliver high‑quality tax and financial services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns, Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for individuals and various business structures.
• Compile and report financial statements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of clients.
• Assist in delivering proactive, tailored business and strategic tax advice.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of tax and business services experience in an Australian accounting practice.
• Commenced or completed CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong relationship‑building abilities with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Recognised Australian accounting degree.
