Tanker Driver (MC) – Bundaberg

About the role

Ampol Petroleum Distribution is looking for an experienced, safety-focused MC driver to join its Bundaberg team. Based at the Bundaberg depot, the driver operates double combination fuel tankers and rigid tankers, delivering bulk fuel to farms and customer sites across the Wide Bay and Central Queensland regions. The work varies between bulk deliveries in a double combination vehicle and onsite refuelling for agricultural customers.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate double combination tanker vehicles delivering bulk fuel products
• Operate a rigid tanker to provide onsite refuelling services to farms and customer sites
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service
• Complete all deliveries safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and comply with compliance requirements
• Work with schedulers, depot personnel and fellow drivers to support operations

Required profile

• Current MC licence
• Experience operating heavy vehicles
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; experience in the fuel industry is welcomed but not essential

• Can drive both manual and automatic trucks
