Talent Acquisition Specialist – Rugby World Cup 2027

About the role

The Rugby World Cup Australia team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help build the workforce for the Rugby World Cup 2027. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will manage end‑to‑end recruitment for a wide range of positions, ensuring the event is staffed with top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycles from briefing and sourcing to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and meet hiring timelines.
• Source and engage candidates via LinkedIn, referrals, talent pools and other channels.
• Provide a professional and timely candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Support employer branding and promote the employee value proposition.
• Contribute to a collaborative team delivering the 2027 workforce objectives.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment in an in‑house or agency setting.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Positive, people‑first attitude with resilience and accountability.
