Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Cheil Australia is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with hiring managers and support the company’s growth and transformation. You will manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and talent‑pool activities for both field‑force and head‑office positions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand and fulfil staffing requirements.
• Attend job briefings, write position descriptions and create advertisements.
• Manage full recruitment cycle: post ads, screen applications, shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks and extend offers.
• Produce offer letters and onboarding paperwork, ensuring accurate records.
• Update and maintain talent pools, providing regular status reports to internal and client teams.
• Ensure all recruitment approvals are obtained before commencing hiring activities.
• Generate weekly/monthly recruitment metrics and maintain Excel tracking sheets.
• Act as primary contact for public enquiries about field‑force and HQ expatriate roles.
• Support People & Culture initiatives, including social programs and general administration.
• Lead or participate in recruitment‑related projects as needed.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of end‑to‑end recruitment experience, preferably in a media/creative agency or in‑house setting.
• Experience handling high‑volume recruitment.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related field.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing recruitment demands.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting recruitment data.
