Talent Acquisition Consultant

About the role

LegalVision is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant on a fixed‑term basis (approximately 12 months) to lead end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding for its Australian legal teams. The role involves managing the full hiring cycle, from drafting job ads to preparing new hires for their first day.

Key responsibilities

• Create and post job advertisements using the Workable ATS and external job boards.
• Screen applications, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate both virtual and in‑person interviews and written assessments.
• Extend offers, prepare employment contracts, and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
• Source passive candidates through LinkedIn and conduct market research on salary benchmarks and recruitment strategies.
• Communicate with new hires prior to start, arrange technology provisioning, and organise inductions with hiring managers.
• Follow up with new employees after onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of recruitment experience in an in‑house or agency setting within a fast‑paced legal environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle independently.
• Experience recruiting for non‑legal roles (e.g., sales, marketing) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for improving candidate experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, specifically Workable.
• Advanced use of LinkedIn for candidate sourcing.
• Ability to conduct market salary research and develop recruitment strategies.
