Systems/DevOps Engineer – AI Platform

About the role

Join Deloitte's AI team to design, build and improve the infrastructure that powers AI solutions across Australia. You will own cloud, Kubernetes and deployment automation, focusing on security, scalability and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO) and ArgoCD.
• Manage cloud environments on Azure, AWS and/or GCP, leveraging Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes workloads, ensuring performance, reliability and security.
• Monitor system health, manage secrets and credentials, and apply DevSecOps controls.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and operations to remove friction from release processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix, networking, databases and messaging systems.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• Security protocols: OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect.
