Systems Engineer

About the role

The Professional Services team is rolling out a new retail commerce platform for a major customer. You will build and support the environments that connect stores to the platform, from pilot through hyper‑care.

Key responsibilities

• Build application, database and infrastructure environments across dev, test, pilot and production.
• Prepare in‑store POS hardware, peripherals, OS images and networks for rollout.
• Connect the platform to back‑end systems, payments and third‑party services.
• Automate builds and deployments to scale across stores.
• Set up monitoring and provide L2/L3 support during pilot and hyper‑care.
• Maintain hardened, patched, PCI‑aligned environments with clear runbooks.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience working directly with customers in a retail POS or store‑infrastructure context.
