Systems Engineer – Hybrid Role in Perth

About the role

HPE is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Networking sales engineering team in Perth. This hybrid position requires working on average two days per week from the HPE office and focuses on developing opportunities and driving sales of advanced networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account teams to design and sell HPE Networking solutions across a broad range of enterprise and government accounts.
• Deliver compelling presentations, develop technical solutions and business cases, and respond to RFPs.
• Provide technical guidance on short‑ and long‑term product directions to support customers’ digital transformation.
• Conduct customer demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts and work with vendor partners on demand‑generation events.

Required profile

• 10+ years of pre‑sales or technical sales experience in large enterprise or government environments.
• Proven track record of driving complex networking and security solutions from concept to sale.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to executive audiences.
• Strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of AI‑driven networks, automation, campus, branch and wireless architectures.
• Experience with security, SD‑WAN, MPLS and data‑centre networking.
• Hands‑on expertise with Juniper products (Mist, EX, QFX, SRX, MX, ACX, PTX, JUNOS) and Aruba certifications (ACMA, ACMP, ACMX, ACDX).
• Understanding of cloud‑based networking and cybersecurity solutions.
