Systems Engineer – Defence & Technology

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to provide consulting services across multiple government and defence programmes. You will work with a veteran‑owned, Australian defence technology firm, delivering engineering expertise to a range of industry sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support multiple business programmes by delivering systems‑engineering consulting to government and defence clients.
• Define requirements and produce operational concept documents.
• Conduct capability‑gap analyses and develop solution‑option papers.
• Manage design development and provide systems integration support.
• Author engineering specifications, plans and reports, and review technical artefacts.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in Engineering or equivalent systems‑engineering experience.
• Proven experience in requirements definition, operational concept development, and capability‑gap analysis.
• Strong knowledge of requirement tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
• Experience authoring specifications, plans, and technical reports.
• Australian citizenship and Baseline AGSVA clearance (or higher).
