Systems Administrator / Engineer (AVP)

About the role

Charles River Development, a State Street Company, is seeking a hands‑on Systems Administrator / Engineer to join its Infrastructure Operations team supporting a SaaS platform and APAC client environments. The role focuses on Windows and Azure administration, production support, security, and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, SFTP, SMTP, IIS, NTFS permissions) across production and non‑production environments.
• Operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including VMs, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, backup, recovery and governance.
• Provision and integrate client environments, handling server builds, connectivity, security configuration and handover.
• Monitor health, capacity, performance and security events; respond to alerts and perform corrective actions.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management, including root‑cause analysis and audit‑ready documentation.
• Automate repeatable tasks using PowerShell and, where appropriate, infrastructure‑as‑code practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of systems administration or infrastructure operations experience in medium‑to‑large enterprise settings.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, cloud workloads, networking, authentication and application dependencies.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate risks and outcomes.
