System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to join our IT team and help maintain a stable, high‑performing infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Delivery Lead, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations and delivering strategic technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and support core IT infrastructure to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations and new deployments.
• Serve as a Level‑3 escalation point for Helpdesk issues, providing timely resolution.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in system administration.
• Strong troubleshooting ability, customer‑focused mindset and capacity to manage priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization platforms.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting services.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune (or similar MDM) and Exchange Online.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and enterprise networking.
