System Administrator – Brisbane (Onsite)

About the role

Boeing Australia is looking for an experienced System Administrator to join its Brisbane team on a 100% onsite basis. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of classified infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable operation across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support hardware infrastructure, multiple operating systems, and apply patches to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Implement security measures, monitor access and permissions to safeguard applications and sensitive data.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues, developers, and network administrators to integrate applications and optimise performance.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement solutions to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
• Oversee installation and configuration of servers and workstations, validating functionality through testing.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar corporate or technical role managing compute, storage and backup appliances.
• Current or reinstatable NV1 security clearance with willingness to obtain NV2 after start.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux environments, databases and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Proficiency in installing, configuring and supporting a range of software applications.
