Support Worker - Adult Services, Broken Hill

About the role

Westhaven, a provider of disability support services and accommodation across regional NSW, is looking for a Support Worker for its Adult Services in Broken Hill. You will be a vital part of clients' daily lives, helping adults with disabilities live life on their own terms. Key responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care and daily living skills
• Take clients into the Broken Hill community, planning and attending social activities, hobbies and appointments
• Help clients build independence and develop new skills
• Complete daily case notes, incident reports and other administrative tasks

Required profile

• A current NSW driver's licence and willingness to drive
• A valid First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• An NDIS Workers Check (NDISWC)
• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepover shifts
• Valid, independent Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not offered); applications close 28 November 2026

What we offer

• Base rate of $36.22 to $39.53 per hour, plus casual and shift loadings (SCHADS Award) and 12% superannuation
• Up to $15,900 per year in tax-free salary packaging plus a $2,650 per year meal and entertainment card
• Remote area benefit: 50% of eligible housing expenses (rent, mortgage interest or energy bills) plus personal holiday travel, effectively doubling the tax-free cap to $31,800 per year
