Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Support Technician to join Universal Music Group’s fast‑paced technology team in Sydney. The role provides high‑quality onsite and remote IT support across Windows and Mac environments for offices in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support to the Sydney office and remote assistance to Melbourne and New Zealand locations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile devices, AV and video‑conferencing equipment.
• Set up, support and maintain Zoom and other collaboration technologies.
• Assist with device deployments, onboarding, software installations, asset management and technology roll‑outs.
• Work closely with the global technology team and act as the local escalation point.
• Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, including senior executives and external partners.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in IT/desktop support within medium to large enterprises.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all business levels.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay calm under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.

Required skills

• Support for Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with iPhone and Android mobile devices.
• Proficiency with Zoom and other video‑conferencing platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, JAMF or ServiceNow (highly regarded).
