Supply/Demand Planner

About the role

Chevron Australia Downstream is seeking a Planner to support end‑to‑end demand and supply planning for the Australian market. Based at the Brisbane Head Office, the role will focus on accurate demand forecasting, reliable supply execution, and strong alignment with commercial, operational, and finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑, medium‑, and long‑term demand forecasts for assigned products, channels, or regions.
• Analyse historical trends, seasonality, pricing impacts, promotions, customer behaviour and market intelligence to improve forecast accuracy.
• Provide demand inputs into monthly planning and S&OP cadence, highlighting risks and scenario changes.
• Partner closely with Sales, Pricing, Marketing and Key Account teams to gather intelligence and validate assumptions.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning, Commercial and Logistics to ensure feasibility of demand plans.
• Act as the focal point for demand alignment, communicating forecast changes, drivers and risks.

Required profile

• Experience in demand planning or supply planning within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, working with sales, marketing, finance and logistics teams.
• Ability to communicate forecast assumptions, risks and changes clearly and promptly.
