Supply Chain Specialist – Off‑Aircraft Support

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist will join Boeing Defence Australia’s C‑17 Sustainment Program Logistics Management Unit at RAAF Base Amberley. You will provide logistical support to the Off‑Aircraft Maintenance teams, ensuring the C‑17A fleet has the right parts and supplies at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Support Off‑Aircraft Maintenance teams with all logistics activities.
• Conduct inventory assessments, stock level reviews and reorder planning.
• Perform stocktaking, shelf‑life management and disposals.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience with Integrated Logistics Support concepts and methodologies.
• Experience using Defence or commercial Inventory Management Systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• High‑level communication and negotiation abilities.
• Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
• Australian Government security clearance is highly desirable.
• Experience in an aviation or Defence environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP Hana S/4 is advantageous.
