Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

Prysmian is looking for a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst to drive operational efficiency and cost savings across warehouse, transport and distribution networks. The role uses advanced data analytics and business insights to identify optimisation opportunities and deliver measurable financial benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, quantify and deliver cost‑saving initiatives across warehouse operations, transportation and distribution.
• Build and track savings pipelines, ensuring initiatives are measurable and realised.
• Analyse large data sets to uncover process inefficiencies, cost drivers and service bottlenecks.
• Apply predictive modelling, scenario simulations and support network design projects.
• Define and monitor KPIs such as cost per unit/tonne, transport cost per km, inventory days and warehouse productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Experience in logistics optimisation, operations improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling.
• Power BI or Tableau.
• Python, R or SQL (preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS/TMS data environments such as SAP (a plus).
