About the role

Citi is offering a 10‑week Summer Analyst Program within its Corporate Bank in Sydney. The programme combines classroom‑based training, hands‑on project work and networking events to give students a solid foundation in corporate banking and a pathway to a Graduate Analyst role.

Key responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis and transaction stewardship, reviewing and interpreting financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation and review of legal documentation for corporate lending.
• Support the management of client portfolios and credit exposures.
• Contribute to structured projects and the execution of high‑profile transactions.
• Research industry trends and help produce thought‑leadership material for senior bankers.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to deliver capital‑raising, payments, hedging and advisory solutions.

Required profile

• Penultimate or final‑year university student with strong academic achievement.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with basic knowledge of finance and accounting.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Intellectual curiosity, proactive learning attitude and keen interest in banking and financial markets.
• Attention to detail and resilience.
