Subcontractor Coordinator

About the role

Babcock is looking for a Subcontractor Coordinator to coordinate trade contractors working across Navy assets, supporting the Australian Defence Force's maritime capability. The role sits in a high production and maintenance environment providing long-term sustainment and asset management services to the Royal Australian Navy, and is based in Western Australia at either Henderson or Garden Island.

Positions are available as permanent or fixed-term, with career pathway opportunities.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance at the level required by the role
• Relevant trade or maintenance background
• Ability to coordinate trades work on site
• Prior experience in, or a strong interest in, the marine or defence industry (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills, relationship building and composure under pressure

Required skills

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card), or ability to obtain one
• Trade or technical skills applied in a complex setting
