Student Retention Officer

About the role

The Student Retention Officer works in the Student Engagement and Education Management (SEEM) Division, under the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) portfolio. SEEM provides administrative support for students across their entire journey, from accepting an offer to completing their studies. The role sits in the Student Transition and Retention team and reports to the Manager, Student Transition and Retention.

You will work closely with team members and key stakeholders to support the development and delivery of initiatives that improve the retention of domestic and international students. You will also contribute to new retention initiatives, build productive stakeholder relationships and strengthen your student engagement and communication skills.

Required profile

• Full-time, fixed-term position of up to 12 months.
• Rights to live and work in Australia; mandatory pre-employment declarations and background checks apply.

What we offer

• Salary package of $89,760 - $97,918 per year, plus 17% superannuation.
• Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration).
