Structural Engineer – Building Structures

About the role

Join Aurecon's Building Structures practice as a Structural Engineer, working on large‑scale, carbon‑neutral projects in Sydney. You will collaborate with senior engineers and clients to deliver high‑quality structural solutions for diverse building types.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers and clients to develop structural design solutions.
• Perform design and analysis of concrete and steel building structures.
• Support and guide graduate engineers, reviewing calculations and design details.
• Prepare design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Provide construction‑phase support across a range of projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Experience on large‑scale building structure projects; experience in public buildings, transport, or data centres is a plus.
• Strong technical ability in structural analysis for building designs.
• Proven teamwork skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
