Storeperson - Warehouse Parts

About the role

Terex is looking for a Storeperson in Dandenong South, VIC, to assist with all warehouse duties and provide excellent customer service by delivering products and support that exceeds expectations. The role supports the local parts interpreter, so the person must be willing to learn the spare parts system and act as a backfill when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive parts: unpack, check off goods, enter them into the system, label and put them away.
• Pick and pack orders and dispatch to internal and external customers, including overseas clients.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Answer phone calls and provide quotes from external customers.
• Support internal departments such as the Service Workshop, Warranty Department and interstate branches.
• Operate a forklift to unload and load trucks, store pallet racking, refuel and carry out general safety checks.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge and experience in warehousing operations.
• Current forklift licence.
• Background in a machinery parts business is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and within a team while following processes and procedures.

Required skills

• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Problem-solving, organisational and time management skills.
• Computer literacy; Oracle experience is an advantage.
