About the role

Join Hitachi Construction Machinery's Parts team in Launceston as a Storeperson. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth logistics and timely delivery of quality parts to customers, supporting a leading OEM in the construction and mining equipment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently pick and pack parts orders.
• Receive and dispatch parts and equipment.
• Load and unload freight safely and accurately.
• Conduct regular quality control checks and inventory audits.
• Provide high‑quality service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain accurate computer records and manage stock levels.
• Liaise with freight providers to ensure timely, cost‑effective deliveries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar warehouse or stores environment.
• Current forklift licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Well‑developed computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Customer‑focused with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
