Store Designer

About the role

KOOKAÏ is seeking a creative Store Designer to shape the look and feel of its retail environments. You will be responsible for turning concepts into tangible store spaces that reflect the brand’s identity and inspire customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the KOOKAÏ store design concept through collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Create concept plans, 3D perspectives, and detailed construction documentation using AutoCAD.
• Project‑manage fit‑outs and refits from brief to defects sign‑off, coordinating with shopfitters, contractors, landlords and other stakeholders.
• Stay up‑to‑date with retail design trends, consumer psychology and new material innovations.

Required profile

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years experience in retail or commercial fit‑out design.
• Strong passion for retail environments and brand storytelling through space.
• Proactive, solution‑focused attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD (essential).
• Working knowledge of Revit (preferred).
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
