Storage Systems Administrator (PV Cleared)

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Storage Systems Administrator to join its Defence & Security team in Canberra. The role focuses on managing storage, backup and disaster recovery environments for a high‑security customer.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and advice on the customer’s storage, backup and disaster recovery environment.
• Assist in installation, configuration, patching, upgrade and testing of ICT infrastructure, including operating systems, virtualization platforms and enterprise applications.
• Perform quality assurance for technical solution design and documentation.
• Monitor capacity, performance and availability metrics and take corrective actions.
• Create reports, proposals and contribute to planning of new installations and scheduled maintenance.

Required profile

• Valid Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance.
• Experience preparing and maintaining operational procedures for storage management.
• Ability to provide skills transfer to technical staff as required.
