Station Cook

About the role

All Stations is recruiting a cook for its stations, a role suited to someone who enjoys cooking in a remote, fast-paced environment and wants to provide high-quality meals for a hard-working team. The cook prepares nutritious meals for station staff (10-20 depending on the station) and manages the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for station staff (10-20 depending on the station).
• Manage the kitchen, including food storage, inventory and hygiene standards.
• Plan weekly menus in consultation with station management.
• Ensure food preparation meets dietary preferences.
• Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Assist with special catering requests when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar cooking role, preferably in remote or rural locations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage food stocks.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Friendly, approachable and able to work as part of a team.
