State Manager - Dental (NSW)

About the role

A leading healthcare organisation is appointing a second State Manager for its dental network in NSW, which has more than 20 locations. The portfolio is split between two State Managers, each accountable for roughly half of the network. The role is based in Sydney, with regular travel across the allocated locations, and sits alongside an existing NSW State Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Operational leadership of your allocated NSW dental portfolio, delivering on financial budgets, growth objectives and operational KPIs
• Lead, coach and develop dental operational leaders and their teams
• Build engagement with dentists, clinicians and employees
• Improve productivity, chair utilisation, appointment books, patient numbers, retention and workforce efficiency
• Drive profitability improvements without compromising patient, clinician or employee experience
• Develop strategies to improve portfolio performance and create consistency in processes, standards and patient experience
• Lead change and continuous improvement, and maintain clinical governance, accreditation, quality and compliance
• Partner with People & Culture and Finance, and represent the organisation across the dental industry

Required profile

• Dental industry experience is essential
• Previous State, Regional, Area or senior multi-site leadership role in a dental organisation
• Proven track record of improving operational and financial performance
• Ability to engage and influence dentists and other healthcare professionals

The advertised salary range is $120K-$150K.
