Staff Specialist – Emergency Medicine (Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals)

About the role

The South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join the teams at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals. This permanent full‑time role involves delivering high‑quality emergency care within a modern, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical management and treatment of patients in the emergency department under the clinical privileges granted by the Chief Executive.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, quality improvement and adherence to evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Current registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the ACEM or equivalent specialist recognition.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, supervision of junior staff and ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rosters and multidisciplinary team meetings.
