S&S Banking Consultant – Part‑time

About the role

Join Suncorp Bank as an S&S Banking Consultant, providing high‑quality sales and service to customers in Toowoomba. You will work face‑to‑face and via phone to handle everyday banking enquiries, open accounts and guide customers through digital banking tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer‑obsessed service that drives satisfaction and first‑call resolution.
• Provide accurate information on everyday banking enquiries, account openings and related processes through telephone and online channels.
• Educate and support customers in using digital banking platforms, encouraging self‑service.
• Assist with digital onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new clients.
• Listen actively, build trust, ask the right questions and exceed customer expectations, contributing to strong NPS results.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, privacy legislation, FSRA requirements and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong communication and listening skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to balance people, risk, performance and compliance considerations.
• Experience in retail banking or customer service environments is preferred.
• Commitment to continual learning and adoption of digital engagement tools.
