Speech Pathologist – Paediatrics (New Graduate / Early Career)

About the role

A not-for-profit allied health team in North Brisbane is recruiting a new graduate or early-career speech pathologist (1-2 years' experience) for a predominantly paediatric caseload. The role is split roughly 80% community-based (schools, childcare, homes) and 20% clinic-based, with hubs at North Lakes and Northgate. It suits someone who wants genuine clinical support and room to develop.

Key responsibilities

• Support children with neurodivergence, developmental delays, genetic disorders, vision and hearing impairments and complex communication needs.
• Deliver communication therapy, AAC, eye gaze therapy, swallowing assessments, mealtime plans and modified diets.
• Work about 60% in NDIS and 40% in SDSS, including education-funded services and school referrals.
• Build a caseload gradually, starting around 2 clients per day, with weekly 1:1 supervision and a Senior Speech Pathologist mentor.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• SPA membership.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Driver's licence and own vehicle.

• Salary of $82,000-$95,000 plus super, depending on experience.
