Speech Pathologist – Northern NSW

About the role

Ability Action Australia is looking for a Speech Pathologist to join its growing Northern NSW team, which supports NDIS participants in Ballina, Byron Bay and Mullumbimby. The role centres on strengths-based, evidence-based practice that helps participants reach their goals in their own homes, schools and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and deliver therapy services in a timely way across home, school and community settings
• Use clinical observations and standardised assessments to set therapy goals and deliver interventions that improve quality of life
• Work alongside a team of allied health professionals to provide holistic care
• Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to junior clinicians (for experienced clinicians)
• Ensure all services meet current NDIS requirements and standards

Required profile

• Degree in Speech Pathology and Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Proactive, growth-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for the disability sector
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently within the community
• Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
