About the role

Ability Action Australia, an NDIS provider of allied health services across 300+ locations, is hiring a Speech Pathologist in Townsville. The role suits Speech Pathologists who want to work in a community setting, whether as a Speech Pediatric specialist or with a particular caseload interest. Work is offered in homes, schools, via telehealth and in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapy in homes, schools, via telehealth and in the community.
• Manage a caseload you enjoy, using clinical observations and assessments to help NDIS participants get more out of life.

Required profile

• Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Experience as a Speech Pathologist beyond graduation.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
• Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the chance to test and learn from new ideas.
• Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
