Speech Pathologist – NDIS Allied Health

About the role

A registered NDIS health provider offers community-based allied health services to people of all ages and abilities, and is recruiting a Speech Pathologist. The role sits within a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based care through telehealth, community visits and centre-based services. Full-time and part-time roles are available, and a 12-month New Graduate training program is offered.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and provide speech, language and communication interventions for children and adults with a range of disabilities
• Work within the NDIS to maximise clients' function, capacity and social engagement
• Assist clients with assistive technology assessments
• Document and write reports, manage a varied caseload and meet professional expectations such as billables and client management
• Attend meetings, supervision and personal development sessions as required
• Build relationships with therapists, clients and referral sources
• Use leading software platforms and online tools

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• SPA membership
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Driver's licence and own vehicle
