Specialised Carer – Dementia Care

About the role

HammondCare Erina is seeking dedicated carers to provide specialised support for residents living with dementia. The role involves personal care, meal preparation, and facilitating engaging activities within a cottage‑style residential setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care such as showering, grooming and toileting.
• Prepare meals and cook for residents.
• Organise and lead life‑engagement activities.
• Support residents across varying levels of dementia.
• Identify, report and respond to changes in residents’ conditions within your competencies.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge and experience of dementia care.
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care is highly regarded.
