Sourcing Manager

About the role

ANZ Banking Group is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives that align with category strategies and business objectives. You will work closely with the Category Manager and Procurement Business Partner to drive value and manage supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute strategic sourcing events, including market analysis, supplier engagement, RFI/RFP development, bid evaluation, and negotiations.
• Implement innovative sourcing methodologies to maximise value for money while considering category complexities and market dynamics.
• Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring high professional and ethical standards and strong risk management.
• Draft and finalise contracts in collaboration with Procurement Legal and Sourcing Specialists, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct data‑driven analysis of suppliers, market trends, risks and innovations to support strategic procurement planning.
• Monitor geopolitical, economic and industry trends that could impact sourcing activities and proactively address potential disruptions.
