Software Engineer (Java & Golang) – NV1 Clearance

About the role

Showtime Consulting is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver scalable, secure applications for enterprise and mission‑critical platforms. The role involves hands‑on coding, API and micro‑service development, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, high‑performance Java and Golang solutions, including REST APIs and micro‑services using Spring Boot.
• Maintain well‑tested, maintainable codebases and support CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Bamboo and Git.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions and Agile ceremonies.
• Automate build, test and deployment processes, and troubleshoot platform issues.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing enterprise applications in Java, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Proven ability to work through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and deliver secure, high‑performance software.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills.
