Software Engineer Intern

About the role

Stripe is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join its engineering team. You will work on real, customer‑facing projects that directly support Stripe’s mission to increase the GDP of the internet.

Key responsibilities

• Write production‑ready software that has measurable impact.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions, giving and receiving technical feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback and align on project goals.
• Learn quickly by asking insightful questions and communicating progress clearly.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated programming experience through side projects, coursework, or previous internships.
• Experience working on multi‑person projects, including open‑source contributions.
