Software Engineer – Full-Stack (Python & Cloud)

About the role

Syenta is building a world‑class team to transform semiconductor manufacturing with its Localised Electrochemical Manufacturing technology. We are looking for a hands‑on Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the software that powers our manufacturing platform, covering backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, internal tools, and user‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Develop front‑end applications with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js.
• Support and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Build internal tools, dashboards, and data pipelines for engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Integrate software components with hardware systems where required.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Write automated tests, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and enforce coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with mechatronics, mechanical, and controls engineers to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fast‑paced startups, manufacturing technology, or industrial IoT.
• Proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a startup environment.

Required skills

• Python programming.
