Software Engineer – Full Stack

About the role

Propeller is looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to build the core systems that power its 3D mapping platform. You will design, develop, test, and ship foundational features that enable multiple product teams to deliver value to customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end development of foundational services, from design through release and maintenance.
• Work across the stack, handling both backend (Node) and frontend (React/TypeScript) tasks.
• Collaborate with other squads to help them adopt the patterns and systems you create.
• Lead greenfield projects and solve ambiguous, big‑picture challenges.
• Review code, share knowledge, and support fellow engineers.
• Leverage AI tooling to improve productivity and code quality.

Required profile

• Pragmatic problem‑solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges.
• Full‑stack engineer with at least 2 years of software development experience.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and keeping the big picture in mind.
• Strong collaborator who helps other teams adopt new patterns.
• Willing to work a minimum of two days per week on‑site.
