About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a small but growing team developing cutting‑edge electronics in Brisbane. The role focuses on designing, developing and optimizing high‑performance software for real‑world robotic applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software components using modern C++ and Python.
• Develop and optimise code for real‑time and embedded systems.
• Integrate software with Linux‑based platforms and robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure reliable, high‑performance system operation.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17+).
• Solid experience with Python programming.
• Background in real‑time or embedded systems development, including RTOS.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and tools.
• Knowledge of robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS or ROS2) is desirable.
