Software Engineer – AI‑Enabled Platform (Mid‑Senior)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑senior Software Engineer to join our AI‑driven product team in Sydney. You will help shape a large, customer‑facing platform that empowers small businesses to build their brand instantly.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using the Microsoft .Net stack.
• Build and expose robust REST APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Collaborate with the AI team to integrate image‑based generative AI features.
• Improve platform scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in weekly highlight and feature meetings to showcase progress.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Passion for learning, ownership of tasks, and delivering high‑quality code.

Required skills

• Microsoft .Net Framework and C# (including .Net Core, WebApi, MVC).
• Experience with AWS or another cloud provider.
• Solid REST API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with Vue.js, Angular or React (bonus).
• Understanding of SDLC, Test‑Driven Development, and CI tools.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
