Software Engineer – AI‑Enabled Business Applications

About the role

We are seeking a capable and ambitious Software Engineer to join our growing technology team in Port Melbourne. You will design and develop medium to large‑scale business applications, internal platforms, client portals and AI‑driven solutions, working across the full development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build custom business applications, internal operating platforms and client portals.
• Develop scalable software solutions for medium and large enterprises.
• Integrate AI agents, large language models and automation workflows into real‑world business environments.
• Implement CRM, API and third‑party platform integrations.
• Ensure security, reliability and performance of cloud‑based applications.
• Participate in new product development from concept through deployment.

Required profile

• Strong experience building modern web applications.
• Proficiency with React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of application architecture and software design.
• Experience with complex workflows, APIs, databases and third‑party integrations.
• Genuine interest in AI agents, automation and emerging technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaborative skills.
