Software Developer (MarTech) – Front‑End Engineer

About the role

As a Software Developer (MarTech) at Aware Super, you will create and maintain the digital experiences that millions of members use daily. You will work in a collaborative, values‑driven environment that prioritises innovation, continuous improvement and member outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and support customer‑facing digital solutions across our platforms.
• Build responsive web experiences using modern front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Work with contemporary frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular and enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., AEM).
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from solution design to testing and production support.
• Apply DevOps practices and automation to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Support BAU activities, including incident resolution, enhancements and releases.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with IT strategy, architecture, security and change standards.
• Share knowledge and help uplift capability across the team.

Required profile

• Strong front‑end development skills with experience in responsive design and cross‑browser/device development.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and solid understanding of software design principles.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle in an agile, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborative, curious and outcomes‑focused mindset with a desire to continuously learn.
