Software Developer (C#, Scala, Ruby, JavaScript)

About the role

As a Developer at MYOB you will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality business software solutions for our clients across Australia and New Zealand. You will be involved from project inception through to delivery, ensuring that software meets specifications, schedules and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust, flexible product architectures.
• Write clean, well‑documented code that adheres to coding and design standards.
• Support product releases in production and quickly address any issues.
• Identify and communicate risks, problems and mitigation actions.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities, including testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with architects and development leads to define technical solutions.

Required profile

• Polyglot developer mindset or willingness to become one.
• Experience developing web services and integrating third‑party APIs.
• Proficiency with Test‑Driven Development, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with code design patterns.
• Exposure to deploying cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean and Continuous Delivery.
