Small Business Lending Specialist

About the role

The Small Business Lending Specialist supports ANZ’s Small Business network by building relationships with entrepreneurs, understanding their financial needs and guiding them to appropriate solutions. You will work from the Brisbane office, engaging with both new and existing customers through inbound and outbound channels.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with small‑business customers to discuss their goals, cash‑flow and financing requirements.
• Manage ANZ.com enquiries and conduct quality, needs‑based conversations.
• Recommend suitable ANZ products and services based on cash‑flow analysis.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities by uncovering core customer needs.
• Refer customers to specialist lenders when more complex credit solutions are required.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to ANZ’s operating rhythms and procedures.

Required profile

• Professional phone manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow structured rosters and operating rhythms.
• Understanding of small‑business and commercial markets, including cash‑flow concepts.
• Knowledge of ANZ products, procedures and services is advantageous.
