Slack Administrator – Systems Administration (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Slack Administrator to lead a Slack governance project for a large Australian enterprise. The role involves managing Slack Enterprise Grid, overseeing plugins, and ensuring smooth user access and platform performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Slack Enterprise Grid workspaces, including user provisioning, permissions, and day‑to‑day support.
• Manage Slack app integrations, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal owners to support critical workflows.
• Review, rationalise, and govern Slack app/plugin usage to balance business needs with security compliance.
• Provide broader systems administration support across Windows, Linux or cloud environments as needed.
• Engage with security, infrastructure, application and business teams to drive platform improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Slack Enterprise Grid or Slack Enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, including SSO and role‑based access.
• Broad systems administration background (Windows, Linux, cloud).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving abilities.
